Plant of the Week

This weeks plant of the week is another one native to the Smokey Mountains. It may be an easy guess but its a plant worth talking about. It likes the shade and gets plenty of what it likes in the mountains!

Take a guess and tell me what you think!

  1. I don't know, but it sure is pretty. It looks like a bird coming in for a landing.

  2. Looks like a trillium. A native plant and one which loves the Smokies.

  3. I agree with pam/digging-does look like a bird coming in for a landing. Good symbolism.

  4. I have this plant and only know it as the pink trillium. Any info will be helpful.
