Back Home Again

We're home again! For the last week we've been on the road and away from home which means that not much gardening was happening. I was away teaching at a band camp and my family was staying at the grandparent's house. It was a busy and tiring week at band camp and now that both it and the wedding is past we can focus on our home and gardens. There are always quite a few things to do in the garden when you've been gone for a long time. We've got a busy week ahead!

Here's us in front of the woodland shade garden before the wedding.

  2. Welcome Back Dave! We missed you! You have such a beautiful family! How proud you must have been on the wedding Day with all the hard work you had put forth. Now I need to know, during the Vows, were you looking at the Bride and Groom or were your eyes upon all the beautiful landscape surrounding you? LOL, I know it must have been a magical day for all to enjoy. Hope you had fun at Band Camp but I bet you are ready to dig in the dirt again!

  8. Your family is beautiful. It so nice to put a face to the blog and make it more meaningful to follow. Sounds like you've been off getting a lot of good things accomplished. There is a special place for band teachers! I love a good band. They can make or break a sports game and the marching songs are the best. You should add a sound track to your site of your students playing something great.
