Windows to My Future...

...project!

Could you possibly guess what these windows will be used for?

I acquired these windows for a very economical price from a very generous person on Craigslist.  The price was simply the cost of the trip to pick them up!

They included two very large picture windows, three doors (two of them French), two storm doors, two large windows and two smaller windows.

I'm really excited about the picture windows since each of them will serve a very important purpose in my future plans. I bet you've figured it out by now...

But I'll keep you in the dark a little longer, at least until I make my official plan.

So for now I officially have a window collection to admire. These windows make a fine addition to my previous collection of five patio doors and five windows.  What could I possibly do with my collection of windows?

Surely you figured this one out!

  2. A green house for you! And recycling some old windows to boot! Very good. I am anxious to see the result as I am planning on putting my husband to task on the same sort of thing but on a very small scale. I will be watching.

  4. Hi Dave, it looks like your secret it out! These are the most perfect windows for that greenhouse! I can't wait to see how cleverly you construct it. My own greenhouse is really just a room with three sides of windows and skylights and does the job perfectly for starting seeds and growing things. Remember that southern exposure with an eastern side for the tender stuff is best. But you already knew that! :-)

  8. My Dad used the windows from an old house he demolished to build a hothouse, and though he doesn't garden any more, the little greenhouse still stands. Your collection is wonderful! Can't wait to see your design!
