Welcome to Iowa and Shady Gardener's garden where she asks Does Everything Grows Better in My Neighbor's Yard? (Which incidentally I don't believe and you wouldn't either if you've seen her pictures of the garden! ;) ) SG's fall color post takes us not only from her garden but beyond to other areas of her town for some drive by shots of the fall foliage there in South Eastern Iowa! Burning Bushes, gooseneck loosestrife, and her neighbor's pagoda dogwood are just some of the fall foliage features on display!

Just lovely. :) As I told Shady in comments, I've been putting off taking my "Fall Colour" shots, waiting for the *peak* colour, but we may be there already. Last fall, the colour in NS was so spectacular, I think 2009 may pale by comparison. Guess I'd better get on it!
ReplyDeleteNot yet ready for peak time here! But I have been to Shady's! Each day we creep a bit closer to autumn! I suspect it will be in November...so don't shut the postings down until then, please! gail
ReplyDeleteIt is looking pretty in Shady's area. I'm waiting until my Japanese Maple turns to join in with the Fall color project.
ReplyDeleteIt's moving in that direction in Toronto, but not quite peaking yet. However, we just returned from Quebec City, and the colours along the highway between there and home had me ooohing and aaaaahing over most of the 800+ kilometres...
