It’s a little hard to see the changes that have happened over the last two years but I was looking through the pictures back in 2008 and was amazed on how much has changed. A maple tree in the back is twice as large now, the vegetable garden has been redesigned and now has plants around the outside of it, and I can’t leave out the garden shed in the back. The angle of the two pictures below isn’t quite perfect but it’s close enough to give you the idea.
What is the same? The browning of the grass! No rain means the grass goes brown until cooler weather and more rain comes along.

How has your yard changed over the last 2 years?
Isn't it great to have all these pictures to see the progress in our gardens?! Especially now, with digital cameras. In my garden, everything grew up considerably in the last 2 years. looking at the pictures, I see what needs to be done.
First year at this house and since I really started to landscape I haven't been in a house long enough. Lol. I do love to go and look back at how stuff looked earlier in the season.

Wow, I should do another about how much my gardens have changed! Ours is almost completely different, though still not where I would like it to be! Is it ever? You have had a lot of growth. It is hard to tell that it is the same yard.
Wow! It's really exciting to watch how the landscape changes all on it's own. I was gone this summer for about 2 months and I just got home. I took pictures of my garden and new pond just before I left and it was amazing to see it when I got back. I did come home to monster weeds, at first I couldn't tell which were weeds and which were sunflowers!! But after cleaning them up and we could really see the plants, it was impressive.
Wow what a difference a year can make in a garden huh? Mine has gone through some changes as well, with a new garden bed and veggie patch. 🙂
I love to see how gardens change over the years. Yours has progressed very nicely in such a short space of time. In two years, mine has also filled out well, especially the 1 gallon Japanese Maples which were little more than twigs in 2008 and are now 3-4 feet tall.
